Your whole crew can enjoy the great out-of-doors at our Friends and Family Camp. Parents, relatives, friends, and children of all ages are welcome. Spending time with your family and friends at Camp White Eagle in beautiful northwest Illinois is an extraordinary experience. Friends and Family Camp is an excellent opportunity for friends and families to learn new ways to communicate and relate to each other by working and living together outside their usual setting. The laughter and fun shared at Family and Friends Camp reinforce family values and create memories that last a lifetime. Friends and Family Camp provides the opportunity for friends and families to reconnect, enjoy quality time together, and explore the outdoors.
A typical day offers adults and children the opportunity to make choices and exercise independence. It provides a safe environment for adults and children alike to take risks and test boundaries. It's a chance for kids and adults to learn new skills and refine their old favorites. Qualified staff affords parents the luxury of participating as much or as little as they wish each day. A flexible schedule allows them to decide which activities they would like to enjoy on their own or with their kids. Camp age children participate in activities in groups led by qualified counselors. A full day of new and exciting activities for pre-camp-aged children led by very attentive counselors is also available. Infants and toddlers can be paired with a nanny for the duration of camp so that parents can enjoy camp too! At least two evening programs are offered each evening: one for children (scavenger hunts, messy games, campfires) and one for older children and adults (casino night, capture the flag, night hikes).
Each person will enjoy as much activity or as little as she or he chooses. Relax by the pool or by the lake, or join in an action-packed schedule of fun activities. Each family group is housed in a cabin, which is cozy and rustic, perfect for family fun and togetherness. Three delicious meals are served family-style daily, and families and friends enjoy special picnics, barbeques, campfires, and lots of dining room fun. Friends and Family Camp staff members have high energy and enthusiasm for working with campers of all ages.
